Why this will happen to me?

I have been carry this illness since i was in Upper Six in Year 2004. My right eye is always redness and ache so i really scare to look at people and sometime really feel want to hide my head into the ground, just like this

Ostrich with hiding head inside the ground.

. Since i get this illness, i am fear of to walk under the sun and look at the bright due to i will feel the painful of my eye, can’t open my eye, and the tears will keep dropping from my eye. This is the nightmare that i carrying for about 6 years until now and will bring it to the future.

This morning i went for an Ophthalmologist, Dr. Hoh Hon Bing whom referred by my eldest uncle who is an Optometrist. As usual, a typical eyes check like this

will do for me. I feel a little bit irritating with this checking due to my tears will keep dropping again. Besides, you can hear the doctor keep saying this:” Open bigger your eye.”

Why he said so because i unable to keep my eye open as big as he wants. ^_’

The conclusion makes by Dr. Hoh according to my condition, he wrote a letter as below (actually this letter is for my uncle, not for me):

This young lady has a central cornea scar

Central Corneal Scar

with thinning measuring around 3.5 x 3.5 mm with peripheral pannus (vascularization)

Corneal Peripheral Pannus (Vascularization)

between 6 and 2 clock hours. There is reduced corneal sensation and this is characteristic of an old viral (herpes) corneal scarring. Her aided vision remains reasonable at 6/24 right and normal 6/9 left eye. Her eye pressures were normal and there was no iritis or glaucoma.

She needs regular lubricants using preservative-free eye drops

Preservative-Free Eye Drops

like Bion Tears or Cellvisc 2-4 times day to prevent dryness and redness. She is not a good candidate for corneal transplant.

How unlucky i am to get this but can’t blame anybody. This might be the karma that Buddha always say. May be my preexistence had done something bad so this life have to repay my ‘debt’. Amitabha!

Remarks: The both central corneal scar and corneal vascularization pictures are just an example for review, not my actual condition.

Due to even after the transplant surgery, the vascularization still will relapse so why the doctor said that.
